My PC's Hard Disk Lifespan Came To An End

My 320gb WD Hard disk has gave me an earlier warning with Blue Screen Of Death (BSOD) within two or three days back. But I just ignore it, when the BSOD appear, I just turn of the power and turn it back on and everything worked just fine. But today, it never be the same again...my hard disk just gave up on me, and it brings along my precious data...huhuhuhuuuuu.

Hope I can retrieve some of the data from the other partition. But I know I can't get anything from a data that I've save on my desktop as it's password protected and can't be access from other's computer. If you happen to know how to bypass this password, please leave me a comment.

Now I'm looking for a new hard disk, probably 500GB or 1TB. Last time I check, the price range of 500GB WD is RM210-RM250 and 1TB at RM350-RM380 at Low Yatt Plaza, KL.

I'm writing this with my daughter's PC...there are a lot of operating system misconfiguration. You know a four years old kid with a pc, they tend to click & delete some useful file while learning and maneuver the mouse. I can't stand to use this pc, there are error massage pop-up here and there...duh.

  7. Ah, I hate that for you! It's so frustrating! I recently purchased an external hard drive and backed up my entire computer because it's getting old and slow and I know it's going to go soon too.

I hope someone has a solution for you. I'll Tweet your post and maybe someone will read it that can help.

Those BSOD are like a cancer..you can't simply ignore it simptom.

I usually repair my PC by myself, never send it to a PC Shop.
