yup! it is a fruit...you will find it majorly growth in south east asia especially in thailand & malaysia.
Lansium domesticum or Dokong, as it is know locally. Turn to yellowish color when it is ripe. During it's ripening season, Dokong can be easily bought at a price as low as RM2.00 per kg.
