Arija: That's not a downpipe, it's a round column, some sort of roman pillars.
bluecrystaldude: It's in Glasgow, Scotland. You're right about the tone mapping. I don't know how to describe it technically..i'm not the photoshop expert though :)
I like the warmth and the harmony on this photo. There is a timeless quality in the over-all atmosphere because of the street post against the skies. I hope you will have more photos to come 'coz I like your style. How about a seascape next post?
How are you? I hope all is well with you. By the way, I just posted a new batch of articles & slide shows on my blog at http://voyage.aimvotal.com/
I hope that you may want to take a look at them & have a pleasurable read & viewing. Please do leave a comment or two to help me improve my blog. Thanks in advance. Keep in touch.
I am just making the rounds SlogBite member sites and using SlogBite’s new game to make the site choices for me. If you haven’t tried it you really should give it whirl. http://www.slogbite.com/particpant-features/slog-machine
BTW, SlogBite has "Blogging Feature" categories that you should join, like "Wordless Wednesday" and Sky Watch Friday" along with quite a few others. The more you join the greater your exposure. http://www.slogbite.com/category/blogging-features
When I was kid, I dreamed of painting the ever-changing colors of the sky while the sun sets. Now that I'm grown-up, I bought a digital cam and clicked on every scenery I like. Your photo inspired me to do some editing on my photos, too. Thanks! :D
nicely done... it could very well pass as a hallmark postcard... which part of malaysia was this taken from? also, it'd be neat if you included the original photo so as to show how tone mapping enhanced the photo...
Nice photograph... Just a question though, is the photograph post processed using photoshop or some same software or is it manipulated through the cameras filters?... The shot is nice... :)

Great sky although the photo would benefit a lot if you used some filters to make thebuilding more visible. It'd feel more "complete".
ReplyDeleteGreat panorama, but still little light there. But the sky give a deep effect at the picture
